Writing, Editing, and Composing are words that flow in and out of my day, everyday. I am so used to hearing them, that it is no longer a surprise when I do. What is important in these words, is how an individual defines them. Writing, Editing, and Composing all link hand-in-hand, and you really can't have one without the others. Writing, to me is defined as any sort of symbol or text put on a medium. This medium could be hand to paper, or typing on a computer. These symbols can be number, letter, or even pictures. Editing is when you look over these symbols. Editing words would involve checking for grammatical errors, and spelling errors. Editing numbers or pictures is a little different, however, this could involve re-arranging the photos so they are aesthetically pleasing. Last, composing is the creation of your work, the process you go through to make it.

I think some key terms that are necessary for Writing, Editing, and Composing are time but most importantly, the process. In my opinion, the process really makes up what you do, why you do it, and how you do it.

My experience with project two really changed my definition on these words. For example, I originally always thought that writing was only associated with words to paper. Through this project, I learned that it not only way just words to paper, but it can also be typed, as well as many other ways. I also learned that it does not have to be just letters. It can be symbols, photos, numbers, anything. I also learned the importance of composing. That the process can deeply effect your final product and it is very important to focus on the entire process, and not just focus on the end goal. That every step is important. Last, I learned a lot about editing. I have never been one to want to edit papers very much. Often times I will finish typing the last word, not read it over, and send it off. I learned how important editing every part of your work is. From the words to the photos.

Overall, this project really grew my in my Writing, Editing, and Composing. But I am very happy project two is over!
