Project three allowed everyone in the class to work in groups in a way that was enjoyable. This project was one of my, if not my, favorite group project I have ever done. It allowed me to work in a way I never would have before, and work with people normally wouldn't have. I think my peers would agree to this statement as well. I saw design the most. Many groups picked certain colors to match their organizations colors. By picking these colors, it appealed to an audience as well as represented the respective organizations well. I also saw the term audience frequently and very important. Each group had to strategically pick artifacts and materials that would reach and target their audiences. My group for example, was needing to reach a different audience than, for example, the group that was representing the Law firm. Some groups, including my own, were constrained by their circulation. For my specific group, it was hard to truly track circulation because the event had not happened yet. However, I did attend the event on Monday, and after seeing the turnout, I can confidently say that because of our distribution and because of this project, the amount of people that signed up for camp was greater than it would have been if we did not do this project. I think materiality plays a huge role in composing a successful campaign. Choosing your materials are extremely important and contribute greatly to the over all effectiveness of your circulation and audience. After seeing all the presentations, I think it would have been important for my group to have focused more on our audience. I think the snapchat filter was a really good idea and that would have been very successful for us to have used at the actual event, because so many high school aged kids use snapchat. I really liked that idea and it would have targeted one of our audiences well. Overall, I really enjoyed this project and I thought it was a really great one to end on. I think my peers would also agree with me. However, I am happy for P3 to be over!
